Switching from Circuit

Step 1: Export Your Data from Circuit

Export Customer Addresses:

1. Log in to Circuit
2. Go to "Customers" or "Address Book"
3. Click "Export" or download option
4. Download as CSV
5. Save the file

Note Your Driver Information:

1. List your driver names, emails, and phone numbers
2. You'll add them to DeliverNorth manually (takes 2-3 minutes per driver)

Step 2: Create Your DeliverNorth Account

1. Sign up at dispatch.delivernorth.com/register
2. Enter company details
3. Verify your email
4. Log in to dispatcher portal

Step 3: Import Customer Addresses

1. Open your Circuit CSV export
2. Verify columns: name, address, city, state, ZIP code
3. In DeliverNorth: "Clients" → "Import"
4. Upload CSV and map fields
5. Review and confirm import

Step 4: Add Drivers

1. Go to "Couriers" in DeliverNorth
2. For each driver, click "Add Courier"
3. Enter:
   • Name
   • Email
   • Phone
   • Vehicle type
4. Save - drivers get activation emails

Step 5: Switch to DeliverNorth Mobile App

Circuit uses its own driver app. DeliverNorth drivers will use the DeliverNorth Courier app:

For Drivers:

1. Download DeliverNorth Courier app
2. Log in with email + password (from activation email)
3. Enable location permissions
4. Start receiving deliveries

Step 6: Test the System

1. Create a test delivery
2. Assign to a driver
3. Have driver complete with signature/photo
4. Verify proof of delivery appears in portal

Step 7: Transition from Circuit

Option A: Immediate Switch

1. Stop using Circuit for new routes
2. Start creating all deliveries in DeliverNorth
3. Cancel Circuit subscription

Option B: Gradual Transition

1. Run both for 1-2 weeks
2. Move new deliveries to DeliverNorth
3. Complete existing Circuit routes
4. Cancel Circuit when ready

Step 8: Cancel Circuit

1. Log in to Circuit
2. Go to Account → Subscription Settings
3. Cancel subscription
4. Confirm cancellation

Common Questions

Is the route optimization as good as Circuit?

Yes. DeliverNorth uses AI-powered route optimization that considers distance, traffic, time windows, and delivery priorities. Routes are highly efficient.

Will my drivers need retraining?

Minimal. The DeliverNorth app has a similar interface to Circuit. Most drivers learn it within one delivery.

Can I still use barcode scanning?

Yes. The DeliverNorth app supports barcode and QR code scanning for package verification.

What about team management features?

DeliverNorth includes full team management: add unlimited users, set permissions, track driver performance, and manage multiple locations.

Do you offer integration with my other tools?

Yes. DeliverNorth provides API access for integrations with e-commerce, POS systems, and custom applications. No extra charge.
